Hello and welcome to my website! Feel free to look around and find out all about me. See details of my new album “Livin’ on Love” or check out my gallery  for new photos. To catch me at my next live show, click through to my Gig Guide.

I’d also love to hear from you. Whether it’s feedback about the CD, or songs you would like to hear me sing at my live gigs, just send me an email or sign the Guestbook to say Hi.

My name is Patrick Byrne and I come from The Blackhills, which is an area just outside the town of Skerries, North County Dublin.

From eight years old when my parents bought me my first guitar I discovered a love and passion for music. Music has always been a great tradition in our family and I was constantly encouraged by my uncle, Martin Byrne, to join him up on stage at his gigs or in a family sing song. The song "Home Sweet Home” written by Martin that appears on my new CD  will hopefully be the first of many to feature in my albums to come.

Country greats, from the likes of Alan Jackson, The Eagles, John Denver, Collin Raye, Kenny Rogers, Keith Urban, and my favourite of all Garth Brooks, have also been the momentum driving my music.  In 1995 I watched Garth Brooks perform live in Croke Park, and it was then that I realised I wanted to pursue a music career. That day a dream was born.

It was 2002 when I wrote “Forever” and launched the CD that introduced me to new avenues in my career. In the past few years I have gained valuable experience in the music business through performing my one-man show which has contributed to where I am today.

What the future holds for me, I’m not quite sure, but each day I strive to reach that dream. Right now I intend to enjoy every moment of the wonderful opportunities that are starting to come my way. I sincerely thank everyone who has and continues to be part of my journey. I would appreciate it if you'd sign my guesbook also.

God bless,

Patrick
